* Each tube can be spaced 4-6 inches apart from each other. Tubes should be placed near the edge of cover.
* Adding a little swimming pool antifreeze to the bags can help prevent freeze damage, and placing a small bucket of water near the pool may keep thirsty birds and squirrels from poking your water bags to drink.

Gizzmo's are used to plug a skimmer, and act as a combination plug & skimmer bottle to prevent damage to your skimmer caused by pool or rain water freezing in the pool skimmer during the winter. We recommend wrapping the threads of your Gizzmo with Teflon tape to ensure a tight seal when threading into your skimmer.
